About World Wide Marine Training

Captain Larry WalkerWorld Wide Marine Training, founded by Captain Walker, offers U.S. Coast Guard approved courses and testing.

We are sad to report that Larry died Thursday, December 2, 2010. There are many wonderful tributes to Larry on www.towndock.net. Larry’s wishes were that WWMT should continue. His staff will carry on with scheduled courses. Our classes are held at several locations throughout North Carolina. How are we different?

  • Our School Is Unique – Our prices include all materials and equipment used in class, there are no hidden fees payable to us.
  • We don’t drill test questions– we teach! In the same amount of time that it takes to memorize test questions, we ensure that you learn valuable information you can use on the water. We give you your money’s worth!
  • No testing at U.S.C.G. with any of our programs! We test in the same classroom that our class is held.
